New Year's Day , 2012

They are talking about ... what is your specific tasks in this year...?

Sakura began to lick her hand. She was not so heavy in that time.

We had a New Year's dinner in our friends house. Sakura also joined the dinner♪Can you see her with a cute blanket in the middle of this picture .

 11st of December, 2011

She started to smile? like this. I could see a rash a little on her face.

21st of December
She got a rash a lot... I consulted with my mother about that. She said it's normal. I started to wash her face with bubble after I put baby oil on.

23rd of December
My mother in law went back to Japan. I felt sad because we lived together over one month and she was my great consultant. We talked about many things...

24th of December
The rash solved.
Sakura liked her head and face into the pocket of the towel to sleep.

Like this. When I moved her face out from the pocket, she seached the pocket. It was funny and cute♪

25th of December
The amount of my breast milk became enough for her without formula.

27th of December
Her face became a round.

Sakura got her own baby bed. She became can sleep well at night .

She cried sometimes but it was not so big voice. I also like her face when she cries♪

My friend gave her a sheep doll with a music box and Bee's products for taking care her skin♪　Thank you～! 

She likes this doll very much still feels the same. It has a music box so I cannot clean it in the washing machine but she sucks sheep's small tail everyday(＾o＾;)

My birthday , 4/December/2011

It was my birthday's dinner♪

I always forget to tale a picture before I start to eat... I love cheese cake♪

I got a lovely muffler and a poinsettia with a birthday card from my husband and mother♪

Sakura was still thin and little like this picture.  I feed her my breast milk and formula until Christmas. After that my breast milk makes her satisfying. That became enough amount for her.

Sakura slept like this picture sometimes.  How cute ! Was there something too bright???
In that time the mitten were big for her♪

Naming ceremony

A week after birth, we had a naming ceremony♪

When I was 5 months pregnant, we had several options for her name.

And then we decided one name " 涼音" but one week before birth, we changed our mind because "Suzune" is difficult to pronounce... 

We checked the naming book and website again with mother in law. 

Finally we found a really cute name "桜花" !!!　I love this name. Especially kanji character is so nice♪

My husband wrote it by ink brush. Good♪

She was very thin and small. The sleeve seems too big.

the first week

I came back to home next day of the delivery. It is too early to go back compared with Japan. 

At the hospital, they told me how to feed if I asked. If I am in Japanese hospital, I can automatically get help of nurses. The system or the service of the hospital is totally different. 

At first I didn't know how to feed her, how to wipe her, how to make her sleep ... I couldn't feed her well. She couldn't sleep well... 

And I had injured because I fall down in the bathroom of the hospital. So I couldn't move well. The first week was really hard for me.

Fortunately, I could get my mother in law's help for a months so I could take a nap in the daytime.

Sakura is already over 6 kg. 

At the first week , she had very thin arms like this picture. So cute♪

She was always sleeping or feeding , doing poo... (*^_^*)

My baby was born at November 22 , 2011 !!!

A midwife put a name tag on my arm in the hospital like this picture.

Is that same as Japan? I thought I became like a new born baby(*^_^*)

This is an entonox machine ( gas and air ). I used it around ... 20 hours.too long...

The room that was for labor was big and simple .
I sometimes should sit and move on the balance ball . But I couldn't leave the entonox.

I broke the water at 22:00 , November 20 at home. And my husband and I went to the hospital around 23:00. But a midwife said we should go back to home and taking a bath , and rest . She said same things tree times so we went back...　Actually my contractions were about 5 to 8 minutes apart. It was very hard to walk during the contractions.

And then we went to the hospital again around 7:30 am of the next day.
After that my labor was getting strong but that was in the first stage. So I took an injection that was a kind of pain relief twice. That injection was working.

And then ... I spent very long time in the room.
At first I wanted to deliver in a water , like to take a bath. But I couldn't do that.

When I spent around 24 hours after I broke the water, a doctor said I should take a ecbolic.
She also said the labor will be more strong.
Oh no.. I need an epidural !!! I asked her... actually my husband was my interpreter so he asked her...

And then I took them at 22:30 , Nov. 21  and ... waited for the time to deliver around 7 hours.
Maybe I slept. I don't remember...

And then , finally my baby was born at  6:31 , Nov. 22.

She was 2920g . She got some scars because of forceps.

She was really small and cute♪

She is 3 months old now. She already cannot wear this clothes.

I took almost every pain reliefs that I could take but everything is free. Obviously, giving a birth also free. That was good♪

I had a very treasured experience. She is my best cute treasure♪
