We decided to go to the Palace of Versailles in day the fourth day of our travel.
We found an information about the entrance ticket to enter the Palace on a Japanese guide book.
So we were looking looked for a wicket in a station near our hotel. But the wicket was closed...
The train ran parallel to the Seine river.
It took about 30 minutes to get to the Palace of Versailles.
The extensive land was appeared when we turned a cornner and then we proceed to going there.
The building was huge and greatly flamboyant. I can't believe that Louis ⅩⅣ had lived in there.
I should take a bicycle inside the building if I will live there.
There were many art
I was surprised that there are not corridors in the middle of the building.
Many rooms were connected by doors. And an audio guidance said each rooms has different roles.
How could they use these rooms at the same time? There is no privacy in that palace.
Usually they use this place just for corridor.
Sometimes it was changed to a party room. How gorgeous it was !
I had a trouble after we left the main building and had a lunch.
I had lost two tickets(for me and my husband) to enter the other part of the building. That was "Domain de Marie Antoinette"... I was very sorry to my husband.. We spent a time outside to wait for our friends.
But I loved that the view.
We could go anywhere in the garden.
Can you see the main building in the center of this picture?
There is a big cross shaped pond
And I turned around ... I couldn't see the end of the pond.
The palace garden had has a fantastic view ♪
Some birds were relaxing there. Happy looking birds.
How can we did they do like this? Everywhere had a the trees form a very straight line by trees.
Can you see some upside down ice cream cones behind us?
The travel was like a quest. Everyone's shoes got wet due to the snow.
But I was comfortable because my shoes was are waterproof. that It was a birthday present from my husband in my last birthday(o^^o).
