"Arundel Castle" (in October 10, 2010)

I went to "Arundel Castle" about 30 minutes from my house with my husband and friends in October 10th.
→I went with my husband and friends to "Arundel Castle" last 10-10-10. It's 30 minutes away from my house by car.
It was an attractive big Castle.
We went to there by a friend's open car! That was cool♪
→We rode on my friends convertible car during the trip. That was cool♪
There are big pay car park next castle. (almost of UK's parking has payment system)
→There is a huge parking lot but not for free.(you have to pay on almost all of UK's parking lot)

We came down a corridor ... What a nice building!

→We walked on a pathway towards the castle...The building was awesome!!!

The original castle was founded last 1067. This castle is one of the longest inhabited country houses in England. Many of its original features such as the crenellated Norman keep, gatehouse , barbican and the lower part of Bevis Tower survive. Between the 1870s and 1890s the house was almost completely rebuilt and the magnificent architecture in Gothic style is considered to be one of the great works of Victorian England.

This one is a beautiful garden in the castle.

It looks like Asian-style.

This garden is "the Collector Earl's Gargen". It is the garden's name.

There is a fountain in a domed pergola in the garden.
And a crown was floating on top of the fountain.

We couldn't take pictures inside the castle because it is under the ban prohibited.

We can saw many traditional rooms, furnitures, portraits, books...etc inside the castle.

...Some narrow dark parts（ex. stairs in the columnar building） makes me a little bit scared... 

This is the other gate of the castle. I took this picture from the outside.

One foot out the gate and the view returned back to a normal life.

"ZOO" ( in September 26th)

There is "Marwell Zoo" about 15 minutes by car from my house.

I went to the zoo in September 26th with my husband and our friends.

They are so cute,aren't they?

It was very cold day. Penguin looks like cold..?

She??? is a security officer in this zoo. What's cool.→That's cool!

They had itch their body. They were scratching their body to use wood.

→The camels felt itchy.They were scratching their body using wood.

And there are some animals. 

But I couldn't touch them because the animals area was big..

He was not shy. Because he cut across in front of me.

He was very cute.

I thought the zoo is not busy.

I will be more excited if I can close and touch to some animals except dangerous animals..

Travel to the Malta (at the middle of August 2010)

I have been to the Malta with my honey at the middle of August.
That was a first trip that I started to live in UK.

There are many huge jacht in this marina. I am not sure where did they come from..

I went to the blue grotto by a small ship. That is a very popular place.
There are many people waited for small ship.

Don't forget. It is too hot in the summer. You should to bring a strong sunscreen and hat or cap if you go to the Malta in the summer. Oh, I bought a cheap sandal and dress for summer in a small and old shop. You should to bring them.  I couldn't wear socks and jeans becouse of too hot...
But I love this Island.

First anniversary of me and my honey's marriage registration

We cooked "Japanese Nabe". This is the first time to cook "Nabe" in UK.
I love "Nabe" in the winter.
