My baby was born at November 22 , 2011 !!!

A midwife put a name tag on my arm in the hospital like this picture.

Is that same as Japan? I thought I became like a new born baby(*^_^*)

This is an entonox machine ( gas and air ). I used it around ... 20 hours.too long...

The room that was for labor was big and simple .
I sometimes should sit and move on the balance ball . But I couldn't leave the entonox.

I broke the water at 22:00 , November 20 at home. And my husband and I went to the hospital around 23:00. But a midwife said we should go back to home and taking a bath , and rest . She said same things tree times so we went back...　Actually my contractions were about 5 to 8 minutes apart. It was very hard to walk during the contractions.

And then we went to the hospital again around 7:30 am of the next day.
After that my labor was getting strong but that was in the first stage. So I took an injection that was a kind of pain relief twice. That injection was working.

And then ... I spent very long time in the room.
At first I wanted to deliver in a water , like to take a bath. But I couldn't do that.

When I spent around 24 hours after I broke the water, a doctor said I should take a ecbolic.
She also said the labor will be more strong.
Oh no.. I need an epidural !!! I asked her... actually my husband was my interpreter so he asked her...

And then I took them at 22:30 , Nov. 21  and ... waited for the time to deliver around 7 hours.
Maybe I slept. I don't remember...

And then , finally my baby was born at  6:31 , Nov. 22.

She was 2920g . She got some scars because of forceps.

She was really small and cute♪

She is 3 months old now. She already cannot wear this clothes.

I took almost every pain reliefs that I could take but everything is free. Obviously, giving a birth also free. That was good♪

I had a very treasured experience. She is my best cute treasure♪

１.Where to give a birth
I would like to give birth in a matenity team in Hospital
2.Companions
I would like my husband to be with me during labour.
I would like my husband to be with me if I have a forceps or vacuum delivery
  　　or a caesarean section.
He is my interpreter.
But he is also Japanese so we will prepare a dictionary for special medical words. 
3.Monitoring during labour
I would like my baby's heart to be monitored during labour.
4.Birthing equipment
I would like to listen to music and use an aroma oil.
I am not sure yet whether I would like to use equipment
such as mats or beanbags during labour.
5.Special facilities
I would like to use a birthing pool , LDRP room, if available.
6.Pain relief options
I would like to try being in water during labour and birth.
and to try gas and air(entonox) when I want.
I would like to change the pain relief from in water to an epidural if I want.
I feel nausea when I feel strong pain,
so if it is hard to give birth in water for me, I will change to an epidural.

7.Delivering the placenta after the birth (syntometrine)
I would like to get the injection.
8.Skin-to-skin contact with my baby
I would like my baby cleaned first before being given to me.
   (when I cannot use a birthing pool)
9.Who to cut the cord?
I would like the midwife to cut the cord.
10.Feeding
I would like to breastfeed my baby.
11.Vitamin K for my baby
I have given my midwife my consent to give my baby vitamin K.

Delicious dinner♪

My friends invited me and my husband for dinner before I deliver.

Thank you for the delicious dinner for us and my baby♪

Travel to Dorset

I went to Dorset at the beginning of October. I didn't know there were many nice beaches where  we can swim near my town. 

At the beginning, we got a parking and had a short railroad trip to a beach.

It was a old local train for sightseeing.  But I saw some people used it for shopping to go to  a superstore.

Several people and dogs swam in the sea. It was a really warm day.

My husband gave me two flower bouquets for second anniversary of our marriage registration♪
I was really happy♪ I took a picture them with my soft toys.

We were in a local train to go to the airport.

We could see the really carefree view. It seems a painting...

I had a nice relax time in Munich. Thanks to my husband(^-^)ノ~~
